To enhance this commitment, WellSense will insource administration of behavioral health services for both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. By bringing all capabilities for administering behavioral health services in-house, WellSense strengthens our support of holistic member care. NH Medicaid will be insourced on Dec. 1, 2025, and all other products for MA and NH on Jan. 1, 2026.

Licensed behavioral health clinicians and registered nurses are on staff to help coordinate member care with a focus on the integration of behavioral and medical healthcare.

To inquire about contracting with our behavioral health network, please complete the Letter of Interest and W-9 forms below to support the contract type requested and submit them via email to BHProviders@wellsense.org. Please designate “BH LOI” with the relevant provider’s name in the subject line.
Once your forms are received, we will evaluate your initial application and be in touch with next steps.
Here’s what happens when contracting is complete
Once contracting with WellSense is complete, you will receive two letters. The first letter lets you know your contract with WellSense has been executed. This is informational only and there is no action you need to take.
The second letter is a welcome letter. The welcome letter provides you with your effective date, which is the date credentialing is complete and approved and your WellSense enrollment is activated. On or after your effective date, you may start seeing our members and submitting claims to WellSense.

Behavioral health providers who are not contracted with WellSense must complete the Nonparticipating Behavioral Health Provider Activation Form when rendering services to a member.
