Getting started
We’ve outlined some of the steps you’ll want to take as a new or renewing member of WellSense Medicare Advantage. Let’s get going!
1. Learn how to start using your plan
Take a few minutes to watch our informational videos below on how to use your plan and plan benefits.
2. Sign up for a WellSense member portal account
The WellSense member portal allows you to see or change your PCP, view your medications, review your claims status, check on referrals and authorizations, send messages and more.
To create an account, you’ll need your Member ID card that you received in your welcome kit.
3. Schedule your annual wellness visit
Schedule an appointment with your primary care provider (PCP) for your no-cost yearly checkup. During this visit, your doctor will check your overall health, recommend tests if needed and address any of your health concerns.
To see who your current PCP is or to select a new one, log into your member portal account or call us at 855-833-8128 (TTY: 711).
4. Sign up for mail order prescriptions through Cornerstone
Your plan includes coverage for thousands of medications. See if your medications are on the list of covered drugs and what they cost. Many medications can be mailed to your home as part of our mail order pharmacy program. Get started today and save money and time.
5. Take advantage of your extra benefits
Your plan includes extras that cover your whole health, including dental, vision, fitness, over-the-counter benefits and more.
6. Complete your health survey
Once your membership is active, you'll be able to take your health needs survey. Your answers help us provide you with personalized support if you need it. After we review your responses, we may follow-up to offer you programs that can help improve your health.
