Discovering sobriety and restoration

After struggling with addiction for years, Emma looked for help to become sober. Her addiction led to losing her daughters, problems with her family, not having a stable home and poor mental health. Recovery was not easy for her, but even with setbacks, she stayed committed to getting better.

Emma's Care Management team at WellSense always supported her, giving hope for a better future. They kept in touch with Emma at a sobriety clinic, connecting her with a mental health therapist and a psychiatrist - important people in her journey to get better. A compassionate Care Manager, Patricia, was with her every step of the way—organizing rides for appointments, reminding Emma of her appointments and listening to her share her good and bad times. When Emma found a stable home, Patricia even got her a gift card to a furniture store.

With the help from her Care Management team and her own strong will and hard work, Emma has been sober for more than a year. She now visits her daughters often, rebuilding their bond. Emma went back to work and fixed her relationship with her parents. She also started classes at a local college, planning to use her experiences to help others. Patricia even got Emma a laptop for her studies.

Emma accepted help and worked hard to get to where she is now. Her story is an inspiring one of success. One we aim to achieve with all of our members.
