Plus, by sharing your opinions and experiences as a WellSense member, you may be able to have a direct impact on the benefits and services of all our members.

Meetings will be held 3-4 times per year. Our goal is to hear what is going well for you, where there is room for improvement and what else you’re looking for when it comes to your health plan. 

Topics may include:

  • Preventive care practices
  • Cultural awareness in healthcare
  • Improving the member experience
  • Identifying key health issues
  • Health quality and equity goals
  • Any other topics you may want to cover

Ten applicants will be chosen to participate in the advisory council for their WellSense plan. Membership on each council will last two years.

Patient Family Advisory Councils (PFACs)
  • Open to MassHealth members or their eligible family members.
  • Provide direct feedback on how we can improve your healthcare.
  • The deadline for applying is May 15, 2025.

Health Quality and Equity Committee (HQEC)
  • Open to MassHealth enrollees, or family members/caretakers of MassHealth enrollees.
  • Play an important role in identifying key health issues, sharing good ideas, and tracking how we are doing with health quality and equity goals.
  • The deadline for applying is May 15, 2025.
