Seniors who qualify can get more now—all the benefits of MassHealth Standard and Medicare plans plus member extras—at no additional cost. If you meet the requirements below, you may be eligible for a WellSense Senior Care Options plan.

  • You are age 65 or older
  • You live in Barnstable, Bristol, Hampden, Plymouth, or Suffolk counties
  • You currently have or are eligible for MassHealth Standard
To be eligible, you cannot have any other comprehensive health insurance except Medicare. If you have Medicare Parts A and Part B in addition to the above, you may be eligible for WellSense Senior Care Options (HMO SNP). This plan is available to anyone 65 and older who has both MassHealth Standard (Medicaid) and Medicare Parts A and B.
