As a WellSense Medicare Advantage member, you can arrange for transportation to take you to medical appointments. You can take up to 24 one-way trips per year.

Types of appointments available for transportation services include: - Medical appointments - Dental appointments - Behavioral health services - Prescription pick-up (following doctor appointment) - Vision appointments
How to schedule a ride

Call 1-844-458-6226 at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance of your appointment. If you call within 48 hours of your appointment, we may not be able to set up your ride. Trips are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You will need the following information when you call to schedule your ride:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your Medicare ID number
  • Your home address
  • Your phone number
  • The address of the appointment
  • The date and time of your appointment
  • Any special needs including if you need someone to ride with you or if you require help getting to or from the vehicle
  • Any special equipment you have, such as a wheelchair or other device (you will need to provide any special equipment)

To cancel a ride

To cancel a ride, call us at 1-844-458-6226 to cancel. You will need your full name and phone number as well as the date you scheduled for the ride.
