New Moms: Get Free Diapers
After you have a baby, it’s important to visit your doctor or midwife for a postpartum checkup. This appointment should be between three and eight weeks after you give birth. Even if you’re feeling OK, this visit will help you continue to make healthy progress.
The weeks after you give birth are important for you and your baby. During this time, your body will recover and adjust to not being pregnant. If you had a C-section, your doctor may want to see you before three weeks to check your stitches. You should still go back for your postpartum visit.
In the packet you may have received from us for care before or after birth, there is a form for you to fill out and bring to your doctor. Complete it and send it back to us to get a free box of diapers. You can also print the form, and then complete these simple steps:
- Visit your doctor or midwife between 3 and 8 weeks after giving birth.
- Bring the form to your doctor or midwife, and have him or her complete and sign it.
- Choose a diaper size for your new baby and complete the member information on the form.
- Return the completed form to us.
